In the cause Joseph Simpson, plaintiff v Benjamin Simpson, defendant, to be heard in Bakewell County Court: notice concerning a claim by the defendant for £3 for a valuation of tillages and £26 16s 9d for the balance of the partnership account 2 May 1853 Appended is an appraisal of tillages etc on Foolow Moor Field estimated by John Moorhouse. Also a statement of partnership assets in the Autumn of 1849 and of partnership liabilities at the time of dissolution (details of farming, lead mining, and shoemaking)
