| Administrative History | Derby Sketching Club was established in 1887. It holds annual exhibitions of its members work organises lectures and practical sessions and encourages interest in fine art. Originally a club for men only, women have been eligible for membership since the late 1960s when Derby Women's Art Club, established in 1922, amalgamated with the Sketching Club. |
