Description
These letters are chiefly from the Brown family, then tenants of Weston Hall Farm to the estate owner, the Hon. William Lee concerning proposed enclosures. The Enclosure Act for Weston-on-Trent was passed in 1786 and the Hall Farm was sold to the Pares family of Hopwell about 1790.
