The bulk of these records relate to Apsley Grange Farm in the parishes of Upper Langwith and Scarcliffe, which belonged to the Earl Bathurst. Easlin Farm in Upper Langwith belonged to the Duke of Devonshire and became part of Apsley Grange Farm in 1953.
