Appraisal	This series consists of files containing applications, forms and correspondence as well as the building plan. The files have been sampled: all plans and files lodged in years ending 1 (1951, 1961 and 1971) have been retained.
Arrangement	The numbering system used by the Council was based on month and year plus a running number, i.e. 351/26 was the reference for plan number 26 received in March 1951. This numbering system has been retained here.
