Nicolas son of John de Hyngwardby of Hocthorph [Oakthorpe] gives to William de Barton and his wife Alic', two cottages and one virgate of arable land in Hocthorph, formerly held by Lucy daughter of John le Sawage of Hocthorphs; to be held for ever, on making two appearances per year at the hundred court of Gresley
Witnesses: Sir Thomas de Hocthorph, William de Scheyle of the same place, Robert son of WIlliam de Hocthorph, John le Sawage of the same place, Richard Wyley of the same place and others
Dated at Hocthorph Friday after the feast of inventio sancte crucis 48 Edw III
