Copy of lease and release to make a tenant to the precipe between i) Martha Watkinson, widow, of Clowne, and Frances Watkinson, spinster and daughter of Martha, ii) James Mundy, gentleman, of the Inner Temple, iii) Thomas Wright, gentleman, of Sheffield, iv) John Slater, gentleman, of Clowne and William Bright, yeoman, of Barlborough and v) John Norborn, carpenter, of Barlborough, of a messuage in Clowne, 1½ acres adjoining in the Leyes close, 1 acre of arable in Oscroft field (bounds), ½ acre at the Hough in Church Field, ½ acre at seven acres in Church Field, 2 closes called middle Romeley (6 acres), and all lands in Whitwell in tenure of John Read at rent of 40s per annum, in consideration of a marriage between Frances Watkinson and John Norborn, and with intent to bar estates tail

Description
Wright to stand seized to use of Slater and Bright in trust for Martha to receive all rents for life, then to Frances until marriage, then to Norborn for life, then to use of Frances's last will. Original dated 15/16 Oct 1728. Note that was examined by Thomas Whittaker and Richard Hunt, who will produce the originals as evidence of title for 6 acres in Middle Romeley, on behalf of Rev. Thomas Wright of Birkin (Yorks), exchanged to him by Whittaker and Hunt on 12 Dec.
