This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
A Survey of Land at Romley belong: to Mr Wright. Taken May ye 1st 1741. By Wm. Hargrave. Surveyor:William Hargrave. Scale: This plan being drawn from the scale of 20 perches in the Inch [l:4000] Size: 27 x 43 cm. Materials: ink on paper, lightly coloured. Centred on: SK470746 Notes: compass rose, top at NNW. Shows 10 acres, west of Barlborough Common, 'Parrclose' in 2 parts with gates, stream, acreages in separate table. Location: DRO, D547 M/P3
