Description
Legacies to his creditors (specified) in accordance with resolution made at the time of his failure in 1676 to pay all debts in full, to be paid after death of his wife, by selling lands in London and Yorks.;
by will of uncle, Henry Jaques, esquire, of Elvington (county Yorks.) testator is entitled to reversion after death of uncle William Jaques, esquire, of Elvington, of 1/5 of manor of Hirst Courtney (county Yorks.), with all Henry's lands in Selby and Brayton (both county Yorks.), and all his copyhold land in manor of Wistow (county Yorks.);
by death of testator's brother Luke and sisters Ellen Craven and Elizabeth Conyers, is also entitled to a part of their shares in above premises;
all interest in these lands to trustees in trust for testator's wife for life, remainder to his creditors;
to his wife the manor and advowson of Birkin, with Birkin Hall, for ever;
other monetary bequests. Letter of probate annexed 3 Apr. 1703
