Description
Recording daily observations of levels at Linacre Reservoir, as well as rainfall at Whispering Well, Hunger Hill, Whaley Pumping Station and (between Jan 1949 and Dec 1962) Upper Linacre filters, and minimum and maximum temperature. With annual summaries.
At back includes Mean Average Temperature 1941-1963, notes of statistics as early as 1870 (for example, greatest rainfall in 48 hours in 1886) and a glossary (rain day, wet day, rain spell, wet spell, absolute drought, partial drought, dry spell).
