Enquires on behalf of his brother about progress of work at the Rectory; wishes the work on the south-west bedchamber to be a secret and a surprise for his brother; asks after Mrs Dorothy Wright.
[Letter probably written by George Eden, 2nd Baron Auckland (1799-1849), whose brother Robert John Eden (1799-1870), later 3rd Baron Auckland, was Bishop of Sodor and Man 1847-1854 and Bishop of Bath and Wells 1854-1856, and married Mary, daughter of Francis Edward Hurt of Alderwasley]
