Description | This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
[4 Fields and Pease Furlong Lane] n.d.[18c.] Scale: 10 yards to an inch [1:360]. Size: 32 x 41 cm. Materials: ink on paper. Centred on: ?SK221761. Notes: possibly part of a larger map: key includes an elevation drawing of Brushfield's barnyard 'in which the house stands': shows field boundaries with double lines infilled, gates and footways. Location: DRO, D5430/22/4. |
