This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
Roads between Tideswell, Hucklow, Wardlow Mires, Stony Middleton, Eyam and Grindleford Bridge.] n.d. [18c.] Size: 36 x 22 cm. Materials: coloured ink on paper. Centred on: SK200765 Notes:no orientation, north at top. Shows villages, houses in elevation, churches, windmill, Stoke Hall with trees surrounding, Sir William Hill and cupola: distances given on old route and new route: includes note 'N.B. the dotted lines are part of the intended New Road that will go through private grounds and commons where there was no road before.'
