Description | In the late 1980s, Robinsons' diapers business, based in Chesterfield, was made into a separate division. The division then established itself as a joint venture company with Hong Kong-based DSG. The company began to specialise in the production of elasticated nappies with Project 'Albert' in 1987, later re-named the Healthcare Diapers project. A provisional five year plan was initiated, with projections made up to 1992. However, in 1990 the name was bought out by Broomco Ltd. and Robinsons' involvement ceased. |
