Administrative History | Dumero was set up in 1965 as a joint venture company between Robinson and Sons Ltd and Messrs D Ducarin of Comines, France, trading as D.M.R., specifically for the manufacture of 'Crenette' (a patented 'woven or non-woven scrim-type fabric') using Remflo machines. The partnership was dissolved in 1967 but the company remained in Robinsons' ownership and by the 1980s was engaged in manufacturing waterbeds at its Chesterfield factory. |
