Administrative History
In 1793 Abraham Hoskins was appointed receiver of rents and profits because of incumbrances on the estate. In 1798 Sir Henry Every attained age of 21, but did not come into possession of the estate because of the financial circumstances. On Lady Day 1801 the incumbrances were satisfied by sale of part of the estates under the 1799 Act of Parliament obtained for the purpose
