In Sep 1823, Turner conveyed the property to Nathaniel Wheatcroft of Cromford, Wooton Byrchinshaw Thomas of Chesterfield and John Andrew of Wirksworth in trust to sell the property (D522/CW/18/13): payments were made of £300 to Turner, £400 to Robert Marsden (in payment of a mortgage) and £1700 to various other mortgagees.
