Title	Chesterfield Rural Sanitary Authority ledgers
Date	1873-1877
Description	Under the 1872 Public Health Act (35-36 Vict c79) the Board of Guardians was established as the sanitary authority outside urban areas. Under the 1894 Local Government Act they were in turn superseded by the new Rural District Councils. The later volume is similar in format to the parochial ledgers, see W12/1-11, while the first resembles the general ledgers, see D522/CW/11/1-88
