DescriptionBargain and sale by Dame Grace Darcy and son Edward, Robert Clark of Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, clothier and John Knight, clothier, of Burton, to John Birkenhead gent to use of Dame Grace, Ellen Hazard, sole daughter of Henry Sacheverell, Clark, Knight, and Birkenhead, in trust to maintain Grammar School (under Chancery Decree, 26 June 1603) of land in Breaston and Orton upon the Hill, Leicestershire, given by indenture(12 April 1538) to trustees for a school and schoolmaster at Burton.
