Title
Papers of Edward Miller Mundy III (1800-1849)
Description
The eldest son of Edward Miller Mundy (1775-1834) of Shipley Hall and Nelly Barton, Edward inherited Shipley Hall on the death of his father in 1834. From 1841 to 1849 he was MP for South Derbyshire. Edward died in Barbados in 1849. He never married and his oldest surviving brother, Alfred (1809-1877), inherited the Shipley estate.
