DescriptionDescribes the sudden illness of George Talbot whilst they were out hunting near Bosworth, taking him to the house of Mr Smith at Sutton [Sutton Cheney], the doctors' remedies (bleeding and an emetic), his subsequent strokes and death. George Talbot is likely the Rev George Talbot, who was buried 10 Nov 1812, aged 56, at the parish of which he was rector, St Mary the Virgin, Ingestre, Staffordshire. Rev George Talbot was the brother of John Chetwyn-Talbot, 1st Earl Talbot.
