Administrative History
The church was built in or around 1889 by members of the Newhall United Methodist Free Church. The church joined the Newhall and Woodville Methodist circuit in 1962, and in 1967 became part of the South Derbyshire Methodist circuit.
Custodial History
These records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office by the Superintendent Minister of the South Derbyshire Methodist Circuit from Dec 1999.
