Administrative History | Milford dye house formed part of the industrial complex built by the Strutts in the early nineteenth century in addition to their Belper works. In 1897, after the formation of the English Sewing Cotton Company Ltd, Milford became a bleaching and dyeing centre with thread production at Belper and Masson Mills. By the early 1990s all production at these works had ceased. |
