The wills are entered in order of business, and not by date of writing or proving the will, or in any other logical sequence. They relate to people within Derbyshire and also from outside of the county. Each volume is separately indexed by name. For a general index, see D504/86/16.
Dates given are dates of compilation of the will books. The books include wills written before these dates; in the early volumes, sometimes as far back as the 1820s. |
