Aston-on-Trent Village Society
Administrative History
Aston-on-Trent Village Society was formed in January 1970, its object being to "foster and conserve the identity and well-being of the village". In particular, it acted as a pressure-group on the local District Council and County Council with regard to planning issues and other policy matters which threatened to change the character of the village.
Custodial History
The records were deposited by a former chairman of the Society in October 1997.
