Assignment by James Hibberson of Bowden Head farmer, nephew, legatee and executor of Robert Hibberson late of Bowden Hall gent to a trustee for John Slack of Bowden Hall esq of mortgage debt on, and lease of piece of land (position described) leased by Robert Hibberson to Thomas Gaskell of Chapel en le Frith gent for 99 years on 1 May 1807, on which Gaskell built a cotton mill(Bowden Mill), later mortgaged to Robert Hibberson by Gaskell who then became bankrupt, and which Slack has contracted to buy
