Administrative History | Under the Local Government Act of 1894 parish councils were established. Where a parish or group of parishes has fewer than 200 electors, the parish meeting can take on the role of a parish council, with statutory powers, and an elected chair and clerk. Drakelowe uses the title "parish meeting" throughout this minute book, which records annual parish meetings and committee meetings. |
Custodial History | This record was deposited by South Derbyshire District Council as part of D1272. It was reaccessioned in May 1997. |
