Holbrook Church of England Primary School
Administrative History
Holbrook Church of England Primary School. The school was on two sites. A school for boys and girls was built in 1837 and a school for infants was built on Holbrook Moor in 1892, both by William Evans. A boys' school was later added to the infants school. The infants school closed in July 1973 but both sites continued in use for Holbrook First School for children of 5 to 9 years. The school was concentrated on the site in Moorside Lane in 1984.
