William Forman's book: the first half is a copybook consisting mainly of rules and examples of simple arithmetic: the second half contains main farm accounts at the back 1772-1782, funeral accounts for his wife 1782, malt accounts, female clothing account 1793, expenditure at fairs and markets, expenses involved on Sinfin Moor 1772-1779, many occasional entries relating to farming and a copy of a letter from his cousin Thomas Soar at Pondicherry ending a family row regarding an inheritance, 7 July 1796
