These records are believed to have been found at the Grove Hospital at Shardlow. There are records relating to the Shardlow Union, Shardlow Rural District Council, and Shardlow Joint Hospital Committee, which it is believed were all administered by a clerk who operated from one office in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century
