Administrative History
A society was active as early as the 1740s but died out later. lt re-emerged in 1826. Its chapel was built in 1835 and enlarged in 1888.
Custodial History
These records were deposited in the Record Office by Buxton Methodist Circuit in December 1991 and were formerly numbered D3568/17/1/1-17/5/1 before being reaccessioned in 1995. Added to the catalogue as part of the FindersKeepers project by volunteer NGS.
