Administrative History
Swadlincote Church Street Methodist Chapel was formerly a United Methodist Free Church, and was in use by the 1860s. It closed in 1986. It was part of the Burton upon Trent Trinity Circuit for most of its existence but was a member of the South Derbyshire Methodist Circuit from the 1960s.
Custodial History
Acquired by Derbyshire Record Office in 1995. A further deposit was made by the South Derbyshire Methodist Circuit in August 2019.
