| Administrative History | The church was built in 1876 to seat 300 worshippers and closed in 1980 having amalgamated with the former Primitive (D4172) and Wesleyan (D4174) chapels in April 1967. It was part of the Burton-on-Trent Trinity Methodist Circuit but joined South Derbyshire Methodist Circuit in 1962. |
| Custodial History | The records were deposited by the Superintendent Minister of the South Derbyshire Methodist Circuit in December 1983 and re-accessioned in 1995. Further records were deposited in January 2000. |
