Administrative History | Prior to 1914, the Wesleyan Methodist chapel in Mickleover was situated in The Green. In 1908 the Wesleyan Methodists formed a Building Committee to oversee the erection of a new chapel. In 1909 a site in Station Road was chosen, and the new building was officially opened in 1914. In 1923 the congregation was swelled by the members of the old Primitive Methodist chapel in Park Road in Mickleover, which was closed following the Methodist Union.
