Administrative History
There seems to have been a chapel at Hemington for the New Connexion Methodists from at least 1836. It later became part of the Dairy House United Methodist Circuit, and then the Derby South Methodist Circuit from 1936. The church was sold in 1953.
Custodial History
The records were deposited by the Superintendent Minister of the Derby South Methodist Circuit from 1982 onwards.
