Administrative History
Land for a Methodist chapel was acquired in 1810. The chapel was used by the Wesleyan Methodists and was part of the Bakewell Wesleyan Circuit. It was sold in 1900, although it had been disused for several years by then. A new trust had to be set up in order to sell it because the old trustees had died.
Custodial History
Deposited by Peak Methodist Circuit (previously D1877). Reaccessioned 1994.
