| Administrative History | Hulland Primitive Methodist Church was built in 1821 and known as Hulland Bourne Methodist Church after verification in 1932. The church became Hulland Methodist Church on the sale of Hulland Trinity (formerly Wesleyan) Church in 1974. The church closed in 2018.
According to Kelly's Directory of Derbyshire (1895), there were three Primitive Methodist chapels in Hulland (p. 264), presumably including Biggin-by-Hulland. It is unclear where the third chapel was sited. There was a Primitive chapel at Turnditch (fl 1813-c1909), which was later replaced by a chapel at Cross-o'-th'-Hands (parish of Hulland Ward), but this is referred to in the separate Turnditch entry (pp. 366-367).
