Administrative History
The Wesleyan Methodists built a chapel at Taddington in 1833. It was originally in the Bakewell Wesleyan Circuit before becoming part of the North Derbyshire Mission Circuit in 1905 and then part of the Peak Methodist Circuit in 1944. The church seems to have ceased to be active c1945
Custodial History
The records were deposited by the Peak Methodist Circuit in July 1978 and were formerly held under reference number D1877. They were re-accessioned by Derbyshire Record Office in 1994.
