Gift by Roger son of Roger de Dounes to Robert de Pipe, knight, and Thomas his son of 11 acres of land with appurtenances in Coton lying close to the land of the said Robert de Pipe which is called Longe Rudyng under the Rifhay and ascends in length from the Rifhay as far as another way which leads towards Tutbury. Consideration 11 marks. Witnesses: Stephen de Curzon; John de Miners; Stephen de Fauld, forester; Robert son of Julian, Robert de Overton, chaplain. Sunday feast of St Nicholas, 22 Ed I (6 Dec 1293
