Parties: (1) Anne, widow of Francis Fitzherbert late of Somersal Herbert, esquire, and (2) John Fitzherbert of Somersal Herbert, esquire.
Closes comprising the Drowlys, the Painters Croft, the Willis, the Mill Meadow, the Robridding, the Coat Close, 3 closes under the Coat, the Long Close, the Gorsty Close, the Rodger Meadow Leys and the Lady Close.
In consideration of £100 for the benefit of the younger children of Anne by the late Francis Fitzherbert, to be held for them of 51 years at the annual rent of 20 shillings.
Dated 2 February 21st year of reign of King Charles.
Parchment sheet, with seal on tag.
Endorsed with old number "S.S. I. 17".
