Administrative History
Records of Alstonefield, Staffordshire, Methodist Church, originally a Wesleyan Methodist Church in the Wetton and Longnor Wesleyan Methodist circuit. The Church was built in 1824 and rebuilt in 1880. The church transferred to the Ashbourne Methodist circuit in 1969. The church closed in 1981 and the building was sold in 1982.
Custodial History
These records were deposited in the Record Office by Ashbourne Methodist circuit in March and November 1982 and November 1992. Reaccessioned 1994
