Mayfield Wesleyan Methodist Church
Administrative History
The Wesleyan Methodist Church at Upper Mayfield in Mayfield, Staffordshire was opened in 1827. It was part of the Ashbourne Wesleyan Methodist Circuit, later of the Ashbourne Methodist Circuit.
Custodial History
The records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office by Ashbourne Methodist Circuit in November 1982 and November 1984 under reference D2421. They were reaccessioned in 1994. Further records were deposited by Ashbourne Methodist Circuit in March 1996 and September 2025. The marriage registers (D4065/12/1-3) were transferred from the General Register Office in February 2003.
