Administrative History	In 1822 a Primitive Methodist Society was first formed in Calver. The chapel itself was built in 1860. In 1833 the Sunday School came into being with a new school building built in 1936. While a Primitive Methodist Society (before 1932) it was in the Bradwell Circuit
Custodial History	The records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office between March 1978 and November 2009. Some papers were re-accessioned from D1831 in February 2010.
