Administrative History | A Wesleyan Methodist Church was built in 1831 in Ashford. In 1899 it was enlarged to include a schoolroom. It was originally in the Bakewell Wesleyan Circuit and from 1905 in the North Derbyshire Circuit before becoming part of the Peak Methodist Circuit in 1944. The church closed in 1995.
