Administrative History
Heath County Girls School, later Heath County Junior Mixed School. Miss P M Tingle, Later Mrs P M Kettle was headmistress of Heath County Girls School from 1952 to 1963 and of Heath Junior Mixed School from 1963-1978. She kept scrapbooks and photographs albums to record school events Heath County Girls School opened in 1905 but was closed in 1963 as part of the reorganization of schools in the Heath area. As a result of the 1963 reorganisation Heath Junior Mixed School was set up to cater from children aged 11 years and under.
