Administrative HistoryThe school was erected as a day school in 1887 by Messrs Rhodes, cotton manufacturers and owners of Hadfield Mill, for the education of the children of their employees.
Custodial HistoryThe records were transferred to the Record Office in November 1993. Additional accessions were received in June 2019 and March 2023.
