Parish of Eckington: Chapel of Ease at Renishaw St Matthew
Administrative History
Renishaw is a township in the parish of Eckington with a chapel of ease which opened in 1887. From 1863 services had been held in the ballroom at Renishaw Hall until an iron church was built in 1887. The stone church was dedicated to St Matthew in 1903. It is now part of the Eckington with Handley and Ridgeway Team Ministry.
