Description
This school is said to have originated in the 18th century. According to Bagshaw's Directory of 1846, the Rector built a large schoolroom to be used as a day and Sunday School in 1845. The school was a mixed junior and infants school. It became a National, later Church of England, School. These records were transferred to the Record Office in February and September 1993.
