Attested copy of mortgage in £200 by demise for term of 500 years by John Hawkesley junior of Handley yeoman, son and heir of James to Richard Milward of Hockerton (co. Nottingham) farmer of two third-parts of a messuage in Handley now in the possession of John, and of the Hollily Close, the Backside Close, and the two Over Closes; and of two third-parts of a messuage in Handley now in the possession of Joshua Hawkesley; and of one third-part of the Near Springs, the Hall Close (now divided into the Far and Nar Hall Closes), the Three Horse Carrs, the New Close, the Rough Nook, the three Broadfields, and the Pit Hills; and of a share in the manor of royalty of Stretton, with the exception of one acre, part of the Near Spring.
