Holland family final concords, common recoveries, and other deeds:
Lease and release by Thomas Holland of Ford gent. to Thomas Cowper of Simonds Inn in Chancery Lane (co.Middlesex) gent. to make him a tenant to the precipe for suffering a common recovery by Bernard Lucas of Chesterfield grocer, of a messuage called Curtis Farm with the High Field, the Hall Field, the Long Field, the Broad Field, the Toil Butt, the Ren Park, the Great Meadow, and the Pingle (containing in all 40 acres), lying at Ford in the manor of Stretton and parish of North Wingfield; and a malthouse and kilns also at Ford; and a messuage called Clays Farm with the Barn Croft, the New Close, the two Broom Closes, the two Wood Closes, and the Nick Croft (containing in all 30 acres), at Ford; and a messuage with the Over Holme, the Nether Holme, and the two crofts (containing in all 5 acres) at Ford; and a messuage and croft, the Pitt Close, the Great Sand Croft, the Little Sand Croft, the Great New Close, the Little New Close, the Stankerhill, and the Little Calf Yard (containing in all 45 acres); lying at Hasland; and a cottage, garden, and croft at Tapton; a smithy house etc at Tapton; various parcels of land (11 acres) in Tapton, etc. Dated
